Blueberry Pie Recipe

BLUEBERRY PIE RECIPE

4 CUPS BLUEBERRIES
1 CUP SUGAR
3 TBSP. CORNSTARCH
1/2 TSP. SALT
1 CUP WATER
1 TBSP. BUTTER

1- 9 INCH BAKED PIE SHELL

PLACE 1 CUP OF BERRIES IN A SAUCE PAN. KEEP THE REST COOL. ADD SUGAR, CORNSTARCH, SALT AND WATER TO THE CUP OF BERRIES IN SAUCEPAN. COOK ON LOW HEAT, STIRRING CONSTANTLY UNTIL THICKENED AND CLEAR, OR SMOOTH. REMOVE FROM HEAT AND ADD BUTTER. AFTER THE BUTTER MELTS STIR IN THE CHILLED BERRIES. LET STAND FOR AT LEAST 1/2 HOUR AND POUR INTO THE COOKED PIE SHELL. CHILL. SERVE WITH WHIPPED CREAM. ENJOY.
